Health tips - Eating pattern

It is believed widely among people that eating three meals a day is beneficial for our health. But little do we know that dividing the meals into sharp courses actually brings us less advantage when it comes to terms of digesting.

The regular courses during the day include breakfast, lunch and dinner. These are the main courses, however some people add a soft snack between lunch and dinner as a sub-course. Most of us consume food in this pattern. But is it effective?

Health tips - Eating pattern
There is a stereotype about eating which we follow without knowing either the source or result of the action. The majority of population consumes food this way: they eat breakfast in small portion, lunch in general portion and the largest amount in dinner. This is due to the fact that after a long day, the body feels tired and therefore needs much more energy, and by eating much in dinner the energy is again provided. However, it is a wrong way to consume food. Eating such loads in dinner may cause you a lot of troubles especially ones related to the digesting system, since heavy dinner is hard to be absorbed and there won’t be enough time until sleep for the stomach to digest all of the previous food. The leftover in the stomach if not digested will cause damages and transform into poisonous elements which can kill your digestive system.

A healthy eating pattern, however, will be like this: a large portion of breakfast with enough proteins and calories for a long day, a medium lunch with refreshing ingredients, and a small amount of food in dinner. Instead of eating much starch which contains in rice, corn, potatoes…we can instead eat vegetables and fruits, which provide no less energy but are very healthy.

Dividing the eating pattern into more small courses would also be a great choice. By doing so, digesting will be much easier since the stomach doesn’t have to deal with too much food at a time, instead take time to absorb the nutritions little by little. And this will also help prevent you from feeling too full or heavy after taking too much food in.
